Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Talent Development:

  • Work with department heads to identify key skills and development opportunities for employees.
  • Design and implement training programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Support leadership development initiatives, including coaching and mentoring programs.
  • Support the creation of individual development plans (IDPs) for employees to achieve their career growth aspirations

Performance Management:

  • Develop and manage performance management systems, ensuring fair and accurate assessments.
  • Coach Managers and employees on setting performance goals and creating development plans.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.

Succession Planning:

  • Identify high-potential employees and assist in creating personalized career development plans.
  • Lead succession planning efforts to ensure continuity in key roles within the organization.
  • Support leadership in identifying gaps in skills and creating strategies to address them.

Employee Engagement and Retention:

  • Create strategies to enhance employee engagement, motivation, and retention.
  • Monitor employee satisfaction and retention metrics, making recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture and maintain high levels of employee morale.

Diversity and Inclusion:

  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in talent management practices.
  • Ensure that talent programs are inclusive and promote diverse hiring, development, and retention strategies.
  • Monitor and report on DEI metrics, working towards the creation of a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Collect and Analyse data related to talent management, including performance metrics, turnover rates, and training outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent management.
  • Track the effectiveness of talent management initiatives and continuously refine strategies based on data.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
  • 7-12 years of experience in Talent Management, HR, or related areas.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, performance management, and employee development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing talent development programs.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in talent management.
