Non woven-Finishing Engineer (Dholka,Gujarat site)

We are seeking a Finishing Supervisor to join our Production - Finishing team at Arvind Ltd. The role involves managing the quality and consistency of products during the finishing stage, maintaining reports, and driving continuous improvement.

Location would be Dholka, Gujarat.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Management:
  
• Manage all product quality data throughout the finishing process (calendaring to final inspection).
• Maintain records in SAP and ensure proper physical documentation of finished materials.
• Prepare quality reports for semi-finished goods used in production.

• Quality Assurance:
  
• Ensure consistency of products at each manufacturing stage by comparing physical parameters against standards.
• Match product specifications with previous supplies to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain quality.

• Decision-Making:
  
• Evaluate and decide the pass/fail status of semi-finished goods for production.
• Analyze physical parameters and resolve quality-related issues during production.

• Quality Improvement:
  
• Analyze customer complaints related to product quality and implement corrective actions.
• Identify and address recurring defects to improve product quality.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Textile Technology.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in non-woven needle punch felt processing/finishing.

• Skills:
• Strong communication, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience with ERP/SAP systems.
• Knowledge of fibers and their properties during the finishing stage.
• Ability to manage manpower and allocate resources effectively.
