National Key Accounts Manager (Integrated Products)
Job Purpose:
- The National Accounts Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business growth in the Integrated Logistics sector (i.e., Air, Sea and Contract Logistics).
- The NAM will be responsible for developing strong relationships with national key accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
- The role requires a dynamic individual with extensive industry knowledge, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to leverage global support teams to deliver market-leading logistics solutions.
- The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, sales-oriented, and committed to achieving outstanding service quality and customer satisfaction.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales:
- Develop and maintain a robust portfolio of large national clients, focusing on high-value customers (A-customers).
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with the field sales and support teams to achieve national growth targets.
- Implement a strategic approach to selling logistics solutions to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture strong business relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within national accounts.
- Create awareness within the customer's organization and vice versa to foster long-term partnerships.
- Provide ongoing support to customers to ensure service reliability and high levels of satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with customer expectations and operational capabilities.
Collaboration & Coordination:
- Work closely with internal departments, including operations and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal supply chain performance.
- Engage with network and support teams to enhance service quality and meet customer needs effectively.
- Oversee the implementation process for newly awarded businesses, ensuring a smooth transition.
Operational & Financial Accountability:
- Ensure the timely collection of accounts receivable in coordination with the finance team and assist when necessary.
- Proactively communicate account developments and business plans to senior management.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Department Head as required.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics operations (i.e. Air & Sea Logistics and Contract Logistics) and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication skills (spoken and written) in English; proficiency in additional local languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using computers and CRM tools for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to provide effective logistics solutions.
- Excellent time management and self-discipline to meet business goals within tight deadlines.
Required Competencies:
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to clearly define and communicate the value proposition.
- Proven ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to close high-value deals.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10-14 years of relevant experience in international freight forwarding integrated Logistics business ( i.e. Air & Sea Logistics and Contract Logistics) with a strong sales background.
- Proven track record of managing and growing key accounts in the logistics sector.
- Experience in handling large national clients and executing high-value sales strategies.
- Familiarity with international logistics operations and supply chain management principles.
