In this role, you will provide timely project and process support to employees, managers, and other People Team professionals, ensuring a superior service experience for those needing assistance
Additionally, you will enhance the productivity of your colleagues by supporting their projects and day-to-day tasks
This position is based at our Powai, Mumbai office and reports to the Manager of the People Operations Team
Responsibilities:
Oversee complete payroll management, including accurate processing of salaries, deductions, adjustments, and bonuses for local and global companies
Manage and Coordinate with Vendor for PF / ESI, Shops & Establishments and payments in compliance to the local Labor Law provisions
Ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll & statutory compliance, 100% align both local and global compliance
Prepare and submit monthly/yearly returns, challans, and other necessary documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Address and resolve employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner
Provide guidance and support to employees regarding payroll-related matters
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations and guidelines
Prepare and submit required payroll reports and filings
Stay updated with changes in payroll laws and regulations in all relevant geographies
Lead and participate in payroll projects aimed at improving payroll processes and systems
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Conduct payroll sessions and training programs for employees to enhance their understanding of payroll processes
Requirements
A minimum of bachelors degree or its equivalent
4 to 8 years of professional experience in India Payroll
Prior experience in Workday is an added advantage but not limited to it
SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Oracle Fusion and other HCM experience can also be considered
Prior knowledge of defining and stabilizing, SOP creation are added advantage
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
Proven ability to learn quickly, behave professionally, and proactively take responsibility
Ability to work collaboratively or independently
Demonstrate high level of discretion relating to confidential information
Self-motivated and can-do attitude
