Workday US Payroll Consultant

Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Workday US Payroll Consultant to lead and support the configuration, implementation, and optimization of Workday Payroll for the United States. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of US payroll processes, including tax, deductions, and reporting, and will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment and ongoing support of the Workday Payroll module.

Key Responsibilities :

• Configure, implement, and maintain Workday US Payroll to meet the organization s needs.
• Support and manage payroll processing in Workday, including gross-to-net calculations, tax calculations, deductions, benefits, and statutory compliance.
• Partner with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure payroll processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll processing, taxes, and benefits.
• Conduct audits and resolve discrepancies in payroll data.
• Generate and distribute various payroll-related reports, including tax filings, year-end reports, and standard payroll statements.
• Provide support to end-users and train HR/payroll personnel on the use of Workday Payroll.
• Assist in integration of Workday Payroll with other HR and finance systems.

Required Skills :

• Strong experience with Workday US Payroll implementation, configuration, and ongoing support.
• Expertise in US payroll tax regulations, deductions, benefits, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to analyze payroll data, ensure accurate payroll processing, and resolve payroll-related issues.
• Knowledge of Workday integrations with HR and finance systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Certifications :

• Workday US Payroll Certification (mandatory).
• Workday HCM Certification (preferred).

Experience :

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Workday US Payroll implementation or support.
• Proven experience with the end-to-end payroll process for the United States.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Workday integrations for Payroll, Benefits, and Time Tracking.
• Familiarity with year-end reporting (W2, 941) and other statutory filings.
• Experience in multi-state payroll processing.
