Job Description

Our client is looking for a General Manager - Production for one of a garment factory to lead the way in optimizing operations, achieving quality benchmarks, and driving efficiency. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operations, maintain quality standards, and drive efficiency while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of garment production and a proven track record in the apparel or lifestyle retail industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Oversee daily production to meet targets while upholding quality standards, optimizing capacity utilization, and minimizing waste.
Lead operational staff to ensure seamless workflows, including sewing line setups, inventory management, and cost efficiency.
Manage end-to-end production processes, from inspections to on-time shipments, while fostering cross-department collaboration.
Monitor quality in sewing and finishing, providing feedback for continuous improvement and maintaining top standards.
Inspire and guide production teams, handling recruitment, training, and compensation for operational staff.
Address technical challenges in complex production processes and enhance productivity through effective IE team support.
Collaborate with merchandising and top management to resolve production issues and drive strategic factory initiatives.
Drive disciplined, efficient, and cost-effective production while representing the factory with strong leadership at all levels.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Garment Production or a related discipline.
5-7 years of experience in apparel or lifestyle retail, ideally in strategy or production roles.
Proven expertise in garment production, effective stakeholder management, and leading diverse teams.

Technical Skills & Behavioral Skills :

In-depth technical expertise in garment production processes.
Proficient in managing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for quick and effective decision-making.
Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
