Job Description

Who are we looking for?

- You are a great problem solver who is entrepreneurial, out-of-the-box thinker and excited about ensuring that the desired process is created and followed in letter and spirit, while managing the interests and objectives of various stakeholders, which may at times be overwhelmingly complex.

- For the role, we are hiring professionals for our Excellence Center based in Jakarta. We are looking for Process Lead candidates, preferably graduates from premier Universities and with a background in an early-stage consumer facing product company.

- As an Associate Financial Controller, you will play a key role in driving organization's growth with your expertise in the business processes that are assigned to you to adapt, implement and improve. You ensure the desired and defined metrics to measure the effectiveness of the processes are adhered to, collect this data and provide to a variety of stakeholders for further analysis, maintain a good relationship with internal and external entities involved in the business process. You will ensure that all issues, weaknesses, and complexities with the processes are resolved with good communication before they escalate. The role initially will focus on Indonesia and would eventually grow as the company expands in other geographies.

What will you do?

In this role, you will be responsible for finance, accounting, tax planning, treasury, corporate secretarial; other compliance, management reporting and administration:

- You will be responsible for a broad spectrum of activities encompassing finance, accounting, tax planning, treasury, corporate secretarial; other compliance, management reporting and administration.

- You will ensure Vendor Payments are processed as per process

- You will ensure appropriate Accounting practices are adapted as also entries in Xero, Navision and Similar ERP

- You will prepare monthly taxation returns data and filing

- You will prepare of Bank reconciliation for multiple banks.

- You will study, analyze and prepare report on trends and opportunities for expansion

- You will be directly responsible for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

- You will manage vendor, stakeholder relationships

- You will work with Internal, Statutory Auditors; ensure audit is completed on time

- You will monitor banking activities of the organization

What do you have?

For the role, we are hiring professionals who are performing at an exceptional high level in their current profile and:

- Graduates from premier Universities where specialization in general administration or finance/commerce, with professional degree like CA and CS

- You have 3-6 years of experience in similar role.

- You have awareness of corporate, commercial and intellectual property laws, high tech industry practices & corporate policies & procedures.

- You have demonstrated experience in coordinating and supervising the vendors and contractors and liaising with internal stakeholders and teams.

- You have superior presentation skills to effectively convey information to senior management.

- You have strong ability to respond to internal and external stakeholders.

- You are hands-on, independent, self-motivated and fast learner.

- You have excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

- You have the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

- You have the ability to impact and influence.

- You have excellent time management and prioritization skills.

- You are strategic thinker who understands business opportunities to create competitive advantage.

- You have the ability to develop clear & concise documentation.

- You can liaise with a diverse set of stakeholders, using hands-on experience and expertise to keep the product at the forefront of innovation and competition, setting a benchmark that is desired to be followed at the global level.

- Your having prior payment domain knowledge is good to have.

A background in a startup and/or a product company is preferable.
