Vice President - Finance & Accounts - NBFC (8-17 yrs)

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Lead financial accounting, audits financial controls and financial reporting in compliance with Companies Act and SEBI LODR requirements

- Review period end opex/costs, ensure provisions for expense are identified and adequate

- Lead costs reviews with each of the function and business segment. Understand the cost drivers and follow strict cost tracking mechanism

- Lead all the finance projects including automation and new initiatives

- Manage the Internal Control Unit to ensure integrity of trail balance, independent review of GL maintenance, GL balances and control accounts, track ageing exceptions for closure with relevant stakeholders

- Review of organization level policies and process notes from finance perspective and provide inputs to CFO on the same

- Evaluate various cost memos (both opex and capex) before recommending to CFO

- Design and adherence to stringent controls across all the processes. Involves continuous process reviews, audits, documentation of procedures, implement controls and key metrics

- Coordinate for Internal Audits; evaluating internal control systems / p+rocedures to highlight shortcomings and implementing necessary recommendations

- Review, develop and implement internal finance policies, procedures, manuals and also introduce best practices of finance and accounting

- Active participation in all new products set up. Role includes setting processes for all accounting and system initiations

- Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline

- In depth understanding of the concepts of NBFC accounting / regulations
