Job Description:

- We are looking for an AVP Finance & Accounts in Mumbai to bolster our Senior Management Team, a partner to take Mindseed forward with us.
- The ideal candidate shall be remarkable at planning & executing the following responsibilities:.
Financial Operations:
- Oversee all accounting operations including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit control and General Ledger.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to maintain liquidity and optimize capital structure.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring the integrity of financial systems and controls.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the finance team.
Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Support the CFO in developing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with the organization's goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations to the executive team on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Process Improvement and Technology:
- Design, Execute and Monitor a Robust, Effective Financial Control and Reporting System.
- Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
- Support the CFO and the management on fund raising activities.
- We are expecting you to carry and possess the following qualifications, competences and experience.
- CA with about 10 years of experience in the relevant fields of finance.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Exposure to a start-up environment will be an advantage.
- Carrying a go getter attitude who is willing to roll up the sleeve and dirty the hands.
