General Manager - Supply Chain Transformation (5-10 yrs)

General Manager - Supply Chain will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing supply chain strategies to enhance operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and agility. The role involves overseeing procurement, logistics, inventory management, vendor relationships, and distribution networks to ensure seamless production and delivery

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Optimization

- Develop and implement strategic supply chain initiatives aligned with business goals.

- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and implement continuous improvement measures.

- Utilize technology and data analytics to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.

- Drive cost reduction and operational excellence while maintaining product quality and availability.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

- Develop and execute sourcing strategies for raw materials, components, and finished goods.

- Build strong relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts for optimal pricing and service levels.

- Evaluate supplier performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.

- Ensure compliance with ethical sourcing and sustainability standards.

3. Inventory & Warehouse Management

- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production and customer demand.

- Implement demand forecasting techniques to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.

- Oversee warehouse operations to ensure smooth inbound and outbound logistics.

4. Logistics & Distribution

- Develop and manage a robust logistics network to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

- Optimize transportation routes and methods to reduce lead times and costs.

- Manage third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships and evaluate performance.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with production, sales, and marketing teams to align supply chain processes with business needs.

- Collaborate with finance to develop cost-effective procurement and logistics strategies.
