Position Overview:

- We are seeking dynamic legal professionals with a strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Venture Capital (VC) transactions to join our team as Associates or Senior Associates.

- The ideal candidates will have substantial experience in handling complex deals, drafting meticulous agreements, and providing strategic legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities:

- Transaction Structuring: Design and implement structures for complex M&A and VC transactions to meet client objectives.

- Document Drafting & Negotiation: Draft and negotiate term sheets, share subscription agreements, share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and other critical legal documents essential for M&A and VC transactions.

- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough legal and compliance due diligence for startups and other entities, ensuring all regulatory and legal requirements are met.

- Closing Formalities: Manage and oversee the closing formalities of transactions, ensuring all aspects are executed smoothly and efficiently.

- Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients to provide strategic legal advice and updates on transaction progress.

- Team Leadership: For Senior Associates, lead and mentor junior associates, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

- Education: LLB/LLM degree from a recognized university.

Experience:

- Associate: Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in handling legal documentation and advisory pertaining to venture capital deals.

- Senior Associate: Minimum of 4-5 years of PQE with significant experience in handling M&A and VC transactions.

- Industry Knowledge: Fully conversant with industry needs and standard practices.

- Law Firm Experience: Prior experience working in a law firm is mandatory.
