Senior Associate - General Corporate - Law Firm (5-7 yrs)

A leading law firm is seeking a Senior Associate (5-7 PQE) for its General Corporate team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for candidates with strong transactional experience who can independently manage deal execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and execute M&A, private equity, and general corporate transactions from start to finish.

- Independently conduct due diligence and identify key risk areas.

- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and investment agreements.

- Work closely with clients, regulatory authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of deals.

- Provide strategic legal advice on structuring transactions while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Key Requirements:

- 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in a top-tier law firm or reputed corporate law practice. - Hands-on experience in transactional work, with a focus on execution rather than advisory.

- Strong drafting, negotiation, and due diligence skills.

- Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
