Talent Acquisition

• Source CVs, Schedule interviews and close position for plant up-to in-charge level.
• Maintaining smooth Onboarding of the new joinees, induction, counseling, feedback and analysis.
• Ensure positions are closed within stipulated time.

Performance Management

• Preparation of the PMS schedule for plants for all positions.
• Facilitate half yearly and annual reviews and necessary documentation of feedback.
• Prepare employee master of annual performance appraisals, collation of performance ratings for plant.
• Responsible for improvement in manpower productivity and reduction in absenteeism & attrition.
• Ensure training need identification for each plant..
• Evaluation and Analysis of the post program interventions at plants.
• Kaizen activities initiation and monitoring

Industrial Relation

• Deliver timely and efficient HR Services to internal customers.
• Handle all employee’s/staff issues and grievances relating to performance management, compensation, transfer, process compliance across location.
• Overall responsible for maintaining contact with contractors and key workmen, take feedback of workmen on policies to ensure employees relations and overall adherence to company rules and regulations.
• Overall responsible for planning and arranging effective functioning of various committees such as the canteen committee, works committee, employee welfare committee, safety committee etc.
• Responsible for ensuring that responses to queries and complaints of critical nature from employees are provided in order to ensure timely and effective grievance redressal.

Statutory Compliance

• Responsible for documentation to ensure that all the plants fulfill all statutory regulation to labour issues in order to minimize overall risk for the company.
• Food License
• Fire License
• Explosive License
• Legal Metrology – All individual certificate for all weighing scale
• Bihar State Pollution Control Board
• Directorate of Factories
• Department of Labour
• Responsible for all domestic inquiry, discipline management, absenteeism, employee grievance, indiscipline cases.
• Handling all Provident Fund transfer, settlement related issue – existing and pending
• Handling Gratuity related issues – existing and pending
• Ensure timely disbursement of wages without an error, Bonus payment as per act.

Safety Management

• Daily observation report.
• List of fire extinguishers.
• Safety on job training plan.
• Plan for internal mock drill.

Contract Labour Management

• Contract labour related admissions, ID cards, Rates, Minimum wages, Liasoning with Labour Inspectors, Payment of wages and grievance handling.
• Ensure no new labour cases are not formed; effectively handling the ongoing labour cases – to keep track and contact with the advocate.
• Boundary management and liasoning with local administration and government bodies to keep peaceful working atmosphere. Security management and ensure security staff mobility policy. Ensure best in class housekeeping practices. Time office, payroll and salary and salary disbursement.
• Long term wage settlement.

Pest Control Management.

• Agreement with the service providers
• Scope of the work, & actual implementation on grounds.
• Cost of the service.

Plant car and Bike

• System of Operation to be defined & monitored.
• Engagement & duty schedule of driver
• Status of car statutory obligation
• Log book maintenance by Driver and Security.

Housekeeping & Cleaning

• Scope & coverage of housekeeping service.
• Manpower distribution for housekeeping – shift wise.
• Arrangement of housekeeping equipments and chemicals

Payroll system and C & B

• Report generation from attendance system
• Daily attendance card & slip from department.
• Accumulation of monthly attendance for on roll employees
• Validation of attendance with the functional department
• Uploading the same in ESS portal
• Report generation – 0% of absenteeism, chronic absentee

Employee Engagement Activities.

• Preparing & maintaining a tracker/planner for employee engagement
• Handling of important plant visit
• Employee farewell
• Plant R&R – Best attendance, star employee & performance award etc.
• Arrangement of Blood donation camp.
• Birth day celebration
• Any other engagement activities as per the plan.

Contract Labour Management

• Review the contract labour manning
• Verification of Contract labour statutory compliance as per the law
• Contract labour bill processing system

General Responsibilities

• Monitoring the gardening activities
• Tie up with local Hospital/Nursing home for any sudden emergency in plant.
• Maintain good rapport with neighboring industry.
• Employee cycle stand and bike stand maintaining.
• Coordination of civil jobs and plumbing jobs
• Key management
• Looking after first aid facility and starting and maintaining Health Checkup.
• Guest House upkeep and maintenance.
• Legal coordination with the lawyers for pending cases if any.
