Role & responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and business opportunities through multiple channels including outbound calls, inbound inquiries, emails, social media, and the Indiamart platform. Leverage effective email campaigns to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  • Conduct personalized sales presentations and product demonstrations, tailored to each client's unique needs, showcasing how our solutions can help them achieve their goals.
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial contact to closing. Ensure regular follow-up and consistent communication to convert leads into long-term clients.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Follow up on leads and engage in ongoing communication to nurture relationships, provide updates, and address concerns, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and uncover new business opportunities. Gather and interpret data on customer preferences and industry shifts to adjust sales strategies.
  • Use insights from market research to refine sales strategies, and provide actionable recommendations that support the company's overall business objectives and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the event management team to plan, execute, and promote events, trade shows, and exhibitions. Ensure these events align with sales goals and enhance client engagement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, solving problems promptly, and maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Use CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer interactions, and monitor pipeline progress. Regularly update CRM records and generate reports to track performance and forecast future sales.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, performance metrics, and forecasting data to management for review. Monitor and report on sales progress and success in meeting targets.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with email campaigns, promotional efforts, and product launches. Collaborate with other teams to optimize the overall sales process and enhance the customer experience.
  • Strive to meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, consistently delivering measurable results and contributing to the companys growth.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, lead generation, and business development, preferably in Indiamart or other B2B platforms.
  • Solid understanding of market research techniques and the ability to analyze trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to drive sales strategy.
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing campaigns, creating targeted content, and leveraging email tools to engage prospects and clients.
  • Strong experience in inbound and outbound calls, with a proven track record of converting leads into clients.
  • Knowledge or experience in event management, with the ability to organize and support events that drive sales and client engagement.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and energetic with a passion for sales and customer success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and customer support efforts.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot) to track and manage customer interactions and sales progress.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred candidate profile

We seek an energetic, enthusiastic, and results-driven Sales & Lead Generation Specialist with expertise in Indiamart, market research, email campaigns, and event management. The ideal candidate will be proactive in generating leads, conducting inbound and outbound calls, and managing a sales pipeline from initial contact to closing. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth, refine sales strategies, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
