Job Description:
- We are looking for an experienced Business Head to drive revenue growth, optimize operational efficiency, and expand market presence.
- The role requires strategic leadership, P&L ownership, stakeholder engagement, and category management to enhance business performance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- P&L Ownership: Drive revenue growth, manage costs, analyze KPIs, and ensure profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and track annual budgets, forecast sales, and expenses.
- Category Strategy: Conduct market analysis, optimize product mix, and introduce new products.
- Business Development: Build relationships with Modern Trade decision-makers, negotiate shelf space, and expand distribution channels.
- Pricing & Promotion: Implement pricing strategies, execute promotional activities, and assess their impact.
- Shelf Space Management: Optimize product placement, develop planograms, and ensure compliance.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Track KPIs, identify trends, and present performance reports to management.
- Supplier Management: Collaborate with suppliers for product development, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team while managing performance and talent development.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Proven track record in P&L management and profitability targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in data analysis, financial planning, and strategic decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Prior experience in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, or Karnataka is highly preferred.
