Key Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:- Develop and implement business plans that outline growth strategies, market positioning, and revenue targets.
- Drive innovation and continuously improve product offerings to meet market demands and enhance user experience.
Sales & Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute sales strategies aimed at driving revenue growth, expanding market share, andincreasing customer acquisition across key market segments.
- Identify new business opportunities and market verticals, expanding EVA's footprint in the event technologyspace.
- Lead the sales pipeline management, from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure.
Ensure that salesactivities are aligned with company revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to drive business development and long-term customer loyalty.
- Oversee the sales team and ensure that performance metrics are met.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the team to exceed sales goals, providing them with the tools, strategies, and resources necessary for success.
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure that campaigns are aligned with sales objectives, ensuring that messaging resonates with target markets and drives lead conversion.
P&L Ownership & Financial Management:
- Ensure revenue and profit targets are met or exceeded.
- Manage the financial performance of the business unit, including budget preparation, cost management, and profitability analysis.
- Analyse financial reports, identifying areas for cost reduction, operational efficiency, and revenue enhancement.
- Implement strategies to optimize margins and reduce expenses.
- Regularly review key financial and sales performance indicators to assess progress toward targets and implement corrective actions where needed.
Business Development & Market Expansion:- Drive the go-to-market strategy for new products, services, and market expansions, ensuring that sales strategies align with overall business objectives.
- Develop relationships with strategic partners to expand the company's market reach, forming key alliances to enhance product offerings and drive mutual business growth.
- Represent EVA at industry events, conferences, and forums to increase brand visibility, generate leads, andengage with potential clients and partners.
Client & Stakeholder Management:- Act as a key point of contact for top-tier clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction throughexcellent service delivery, regular communication, and the resolution of any challenges or concerns.
- Manage key accounts, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell, and ensuring that clients arecontinuously receiving maximum value from EVA's solutions.
- Collaborate with the customer success and account management teams to ensure smooth onboarding,client retention, and long-term partnership success.
Leadership & Team Development:- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, andcontinuous improvement.
- Provide regular training, coaching, and feedback to ensure team members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to achieve their goals.
- Identify talent needs across the business unit, developing effective talent acquisition strategies to fill skill gaps.
- Create and oversee the development of job descriptions (JDs) for new hires.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:- Establish sales KPIs and performance metrics, ensuring that the sales team has clear goals and objectives tomeet.
- Regularly report on business performance, providing detailed insights to the executive leadership team onprogress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Use data-driven insights to continuously optimize the sales process and improve performance, tracking keymetrics such as conversion rates, sales cycle, and customer lifetime value.
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or relevanttechnical degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role.
Experience in event tech, virtual conferencing, or SaaS is highlydesirable.
- Proven ability to drive revenue through effective sales strategies, relationship building, and marketexpansion.
- Experience with managing sales teams, setting targets, and developing performance metrics that driveresults.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to foster long-term client and partner relationships.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and work effectively across teams and departments.
- B1 Visa required for international travel to support business operations and client relationships.
Key Competencies:
