Senior Network Engineer - Routing & Switching (7-10 yrs)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer (Lead/Architect) to design, build, and optimize hybrid on-premise and cloud networks. This role involves network design, engineering, automation, and testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and implement enterprise-scale network solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.

- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders for infrastructure development.

- Utilize Cisco (IOS, NXOS, IOS-XR) & Juniper (JUNIOS) technologies for routing, switching, and security.

- Implement network service orchestration, NFV, and automation.

- Lead network transformation initiatives and introduce new features.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards, governance, and best practices.

- Utilize tools like JIRA, Confluence, and GitLab for Agile delivery.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Extensive experience in enterprise network design & engineering.

- Strong knowledge of BGP, MPLS, QoS, IPSEC, L2/L3VPN, LAN/WAN, Ethernet switching (VPC/VSS).

- Expertise in network automation, testing, and orchestration (NSO).

- Experience with network security, firewalls, load balancers, and IP multicast.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in Financial Services or low-latency market data.

- Knowledge of Python for network automation and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Relevant industry certifications.
