Network Lead - Routing & Switching (9-10 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.

- Deep expertise in Routing & Switching protocols (e.g, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRFs).

- Hands-on experience with SD-WAN technologies, specifically Viptela.

- Configure and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g, Palo Alto) and load balancers.

- Participate in network capacity planning and performance optimization initiatives.

- Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of projects.

- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

- Interact with clients to understand their network requirements and provide technical consultation.

- Present technical solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex network issues in a timely and efficient manner.

- Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical network issues.

- Monitor network performance and proactively address potential problems.

- Implement and maintain network security best practices, including intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), firewalls, and VPNs.

- Stay abreast of emerging network security threats and implement appropriate countermeasures.

- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience : 9+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering and administration.

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model).

- Expertise in Routing & Switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VRFs).

- In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN technologies, particularly Viptela.

- Proficiency with firewalls (e.g, Palo Alto) and load balancers.

- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g, Nagios, Zabbix).

- Familiarity with virtualization and cloud computing technologies (e.g, VMware, AWS, Azure).
