L3 Network Engineer - Routing & Switching (6-9 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructures, including routing and switching, SD-WAN (Viptela preferred), firewalls (Palo Alto preferred), load balancers, and client management.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and security breaches.

- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and address potential issues.

- Participate in network capacity planning and upgrades.

- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, procedures, and best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, security engineers, and application developers.

- Stay current on the latest networking technologies and industry best practices.

- Participate in on-call rotation for network support.

Required Skills :

- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), switching, and VLANs.

- Proven experience with SD-WAN technologies, preferably Viptela.

- Hands-on experience with firewalls, preferably Palo Alto.

- Experience with load balancing technologies.

- Experience with client management solutions.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.)

- Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)

- Experience with network security best practices and threat mitigation techniques.

- Industry certifications (CCIE, JNCIE, etc)
