Job Description

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team focused on IT services.
    • Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  2. Sales Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  3. Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their IT service needs.
    • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and serve as a point of escalation for client concerns.
  4. New Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the IT services market.
    • Lead the sales team in prospecting, qualifying leads, and expanding the client portfolio.
  5. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales performance.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  6. Proposal and Contract Negotiation:
    • Oversee the creation of compelling proposals and presentations for IT services.
    • Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring favorable terms for both the client and the organization.
  7. Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research to shape the company's IT services strategy.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and technical support, to ensure cohesive and effective operations.
    • Communicate client feedback and market insights to internal teams for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of proven success in IT services sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, software development, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading successful sales teams.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development of business and sales strategies.
  • Results-Driven: Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the market, technology, and client needs.
  • Technical Acumen: Understanding of IT concepts and services to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical clients.
