Associate Manager - VCM Operations

Purpose/Objective

His overall task is to oversee the manufacturing of products and ensure that the production strategies. H will also be responsible for adopting new production techniques that increase manufacturing efficiency

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the VCM plant, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production targets - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and troubleshoot any operational issues - Implement preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with the maintenance team for equipment upkeep - Monitor process parameters and take necessary actions to maintain product quality and efficiency - Lead and mentor a team of operators and technicians, providing guidance and support for continuous improvement - Drive initiatives for cost reduction, energy efficiency, and waste minimization in line with sustainability goals - Prepare operational reports, analyze KPIs, and recommend strategies for enhancing productivity - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contribute to the development of operational procedures

Technical Competencies

Experience with DCS (Distributed Control System) and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems,In-depth knowledge of VCM production processes and equipment,Proficiency in process optimization and troubleshooting techniques,Strong knowledge of process safety management

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations, preferably in the petrochemical industry - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field
