Job Description
- Take complete ownership of the software application, including its architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance the overall user experience
- Capable of handling UI/UX designs, developments, and testing, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
- Ensure that development tasks are completed on time and according to specifications, while maintaining code quality and adherence to best practices
- Coordinate comprehensive testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to identify and address any issues before release
- Manage the release process, including version control, deployment strategies, and post-release monitoring and support
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for promoting the software application, including creating marketing materials, conducting market research, and analyzing user feedback
- Continuously evaluate and improve the software application based on user feedback, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Exposure to UVA GCS software development
- Experience in PX4, Ardupilot Flight Stacks & companion computers with ability to modify code & build firmware & load
- Ability to read code, modify code & debug & quickly ramp up
- Should know avionics stack programming
- Experience with mavlink protocols Experience in AI and ML will be preferred
