Job Description
- Solution Design & Implementation : Lead and support the design and implementation of SAP MM and IS-Retail solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices for retail-specific processes (e.g., merchandise management, procurement, inventory management, retail operations).
- Business Process Analysis : Conduct thorough business process analysis with retail clients, identifying requirements for procurement , inventory management , store operations , supply chain , and merchandise planning , translating them into functional SAP solutions.
- Configuration & Customization : Configure and customize SAP MM and IS-Retail modules according to client needs, including setting up master data (e.g., material master, vendor master), purchase orders, stock management, and retail-specific functionalities like store replenishment and point of sale (POS) integration.
- Integration Expertise : Ensure smooth integration of SAP MM with other SAP modules (e.g., SAP SD, SAP WM, SAP FICO, SAP BW) and external systems (e.g., retail POS, e-commerce platforms, third-party logistics providers).
- End-to-End Project Support : Provide support throughout the full project lifecycle, from business blueprinting, configuration, and testing to deployment and post-go-live support.
- Testing & Quality Assurance : Coordinate and perform unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for SAP MM IS-Retail solutions. Ensure high-quality standards and timely delivery of project milestones.
- Client Collaboration & Communication : Serve as the key contact for clients during the implementation phase, actively participating in workshops, meetings, and presentations. Guide clients through system setup and adoption of SAP IS-Retail solutions.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer : Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support to ensure smooth adoption of SAP MM IS-Retail solutions by client teams.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution : Identify and resolve issues in SAP MM and IS-Retail modules post-implementation, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
- Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest SAP enhancements and retail industry trends to continually improve SAP solutions and recommend improvements to clients.
