VP - Marketing & Brand Strategy (FMCG/FMCD)
Role Overview:
The VP - Marketing & Brand Strategy will lead the overall brand vision, marketing strategy, and consumer engagement initiatives to drive business growth and market leadership in the FMCG/FMCD sector. This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong brand-building mindset, digital-first approach, and deep expertise in consumer insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Positioning:
- Develop and execute a holistic brand strategy to enhance brand equity and drive consumer preference.
- Define and implement a long-term brand architecture, ensuring consistency across product categories.
- Lead brand portfolio management, innovation strategy, and new product development initiatives.
Integrated Marketing Strategy:
- Develop and oversee 360-degree marketing campaigns across digital, ATL (Above-the-Line), and BTL (Below-the-Line) channels.
- Drive consumer-centric marketing initiatives through data-driven insights and trend analysis.
- Collaborate with sales, product, and R&D teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
Digital & Performance Marketing:
- Lead digital transformation by developing robust performance marketing, social media, and e-commerce strategies.
- Optimize SEO, SEM, influencer marketing, and programmatic advertising for better consumer engagement.
- Leverage AI-driven insights to enhance campaign effectiveness and customer experience.
Trade & Retail Marketing:
- Develop trade marketing & in-store activation strategies to enhance product visibility and drive conversions.
- Ensure seamless execution of merchandising, POS materials, and retailer promotions.
- Work closely with Modern Trade, General Trade, and E-Commerce teams to optimize channel marketing efforts.
Consumer Insights & Market Intelligence:
- Leverage market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to drive marketing innovation.
- Identify emerging trends and white spaces to create disruptive go-to-market strategies.
- Monitor brand performance through KPIs, ROI analysis, and marketing analytics.
Leadership & Team Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing marketing & brand management team.
- Foster a culture of creativity, agility, and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align marketing strategies with organizational goals.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 15-20 years of experience in Marketing & Brand Strategy within the FMCG/FMCD industry.
- Proven track record of scaling brands, launching new products, and driving category growth.
- Expertise in digital marketing, media planning, and omnichannel strategies.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, retail execution, and market dynamics.
- Experience in managing large marketing budgets and delivering high-ROI campaigns.
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business Strategy, or a related field preferred.
