Job Description :
Role- Marketing Head Designation- Vice President
Reporting to- CEO
Functional Skills required for role:
1. Performance marketing: A proven track record of using various Digital marketing tools and having a clear view point on best in class ( eg knowing CPC benchmarks, SEO/SEM strategies for various platforms, like google, meta, Amazon etc). Should be able to demonstrate results of effective digital campaigns undertaken.
2. Content Creation : Should have a flair for creating content , either in-house or through a content creation network. Should have a view on cost-quality trade-offs, provider ecosystem for content (influencers/professional content creators). Should have experience of rolling out campaigns across platforms like Insta, Youtube
3. CRM : Should have exposure to best practices in CRM.
Key functional skills would be:
1) Customer Segmentation: based on demographics, behaviour, purchase history etc.
2) Lead Management: Expertise in capturing, scoring, leads through the sales funnel using CRM tools like Salesforce.
3) Email Marketing Automation: Proficiency in creating automated email campaigns for onboarding, promotions, and re-engagement using tools like Mailchimp or Klaviyo.
4) Data Analysis and Reporting: Skilled in analyzing CRM data to generate actionable insights, track campaign effectiveness, and forecast customer behavior.
5) Integration with Marketing Channel: Ensuring CRM tools integrate seamlessly with other platforms like social media, e-commerce, and ad platforms to provide a unified customer view.
6) Customer Feedback and Satisfaction Tracking: Setting up mechanisms to collect, analyze, and act on customer feedback to enhance satisfaction and improve Net Promoter Score (NPS).Prior experience of managing a brand community program will be an added advantage.
4. Brand strategy: Expertise in defining and articulating a brand's purpose, values, and positioning to create a strong and differentiated identity.
- This includes developing messaging frameworks, visual guidelines, and long-term strategies to ensure consistency across all touchpoints and build lasting brand equity.
- Should be able to scan the landscape and be able to clearly articulate brand's positioning the market.
5. Brand Execution: The ability to translate high-level brand strategies into practical, measurable, and cohesive marketing initiatives.
- This includes overseeing campaign development, ensuring alignment with the brand's identity, managing cross-channel consistency, and driving results through effective implementation.
- Will result in actions such as creating a brand book/brand bible. Has a track record of having creating powerful campaigns with multi-media execution.
- Should have managed brand launches and created impactful campaigns.
6. Agency management: Ability to work with a cross section of specialsits from digital media, content creation, PR, Influencer management etc. Has a view on what good likes like and costs.
7. Financial planning: Ability to manage marketing budgets and show judgement on optimum allocation across channels, should be able to articulate marketing ROI.
