Job Description

Job Summary:

The HR Executive & Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting core HR functions, including employee lifecycle management, recruitment coordination, payroll processing, benefits administration, and data management. This role is essential to maintaining smooth HR operations and supporting employees across various levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in human resources, with strong interpersonal skills, data accuracy, and process improvement abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:

  • Facilitate onboarding processes, including documentation, HRMS profile creation, asset allocation, and orientation.
  • Manage the offboarding process, ensuring compliance, asset recovery, and processing final settlements.

2. HR Systems and MIS Management:

  • Maintain data accuracy within HR and MIS systems, ensuring data integrity and user access control.
  • Generate HR and payroll reports to support decision-making and compliance audits.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes, implementing best practices for efficiency.

3. Compliance & Record Keeping:

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and payroll tax regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date personnel files, HRMS data, and all relevant documentation.
  • Prepare and participate in internal and external audits as required.

4. Payroll Support:

  • Assist in monthly payroll processing by supporting salary adjustments, tax withholdings, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Support the maintenance of accurate payroll records and assist in generating reports for management and finance teams as required.
  • Collaborate with finance and benefits providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll and benefits processing.

5. Recruitment Coordination:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and source qualified candidates.
  • Screen and evaluate potential candidates, schedule interviews, and liaise with hiring managers for feedback.
  • Negotiate offers and follow up with selected candidates until onboarding.
  • Maintain and update candidate pipelines and recruitment reports.

6. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding HRMS, and other HR matters.
  • Conduct monthly engagement sessions and assist with implementing HR initiatives.
  • Support employee benefits administration, including enrollment, deletion, and updates.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years in HR operations, or HRMS.
  • Proficiency in HRMS and MS Excel; knowledge of MIS reporting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem solving abilities, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with labour laws and regulations is an advantage.
