About The Role :

Coordinate Sales operations with the other departments of the organization.

Develop and/or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the organization.

Responsible for targeting new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.

Any matter which may effect the interests of  Novotel Ahmedabad  should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in the development of the Strategic Sales Plan for the organization.

Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing to direct the Sales & Marketing department to achieve objectives established in the Organization’s Strategic Plan.

Leadership skills that utilize persuasion and motivation to attain organizationalgoals is the most desirable management quality, followed by honesty, integrity, ethical behavior, tactfulness, openness, and cultural awareness.

Qualifications

To fulfil this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

Minimum of five (5) Years of Hotel Sales, Catering or Marketing Experience.

Four-year college degree preferred.

Minimum Years of Leadership Experience in a Full-Service Hotel:5star.

Highly professional presentations and communication (oral and written) skills.

Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office.

Ability to perform critical analysis.

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

Additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing and communications.

Adaptable experience with business strategy, business planning, and business plan development.

Experience in large matrix organizations.

Knowledge of Opera Sales & Catering Software or comparable products.
