About The Role :

We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Revenue to join our dynamic team in Grand Mercure bangalore/Grand Mercure Mysore/Grand Mercure Ahmedabad gift city/ ibis styles Mysuru, India. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic revenue management initiatives to maximize our organization's financial performance.

Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies to optimize revenue across all channels

Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and historical data to forecast demand and adjust pricing strategies accordingly

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue goals and strategies

Lead and mentor a team of revenue management professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation

Implement and oversee the use of revenue management systems and tools to enhance decision-making processes

Prepare and present detailed revenue reports and forecasts to senior management and stakeholders

Identify new revenue opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in revenue management

Develop and manage the annual revenue budget, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred

Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management or a related field, with a proven track record of success

Advanced knowledge of revenue management strategies, techniques, and best practices

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies

Proficiency in revenue management software, Microsoft Office suite, and data visualization tools

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to diverse audiences

Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

In-depth understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and industry trends

Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

Experience in the hospitality or travel industry is a plus
