Brief about the Team
Account Management team is a center of excellence within the Category Management vertical of Tata 1mg. The team works closely with the org-wide leadership team, procurement, product, and category teams to identify & execute opportunities to promote brands on Tata 1mg platform to achieve desired growth. They are the face of the organization to the accounts (clients) and must deliver on being answerable to all requirements primarily leading to business growth. The account management team chases the profitability of the accounts and overall category assigned, through initiatives on monetization, consumer offer journeys and more. The initiatives and scope of work span across business verticals including e-pharma, institutional business, e-diagnostics, and retail.
What will you do:
- Lead account management for large value key accounts, acting as the complete business owner for the overall growth & success of the assigned accounts on the platform
- Define a strategic growth plan for the client's increased sales & investments on the 1mg platform, along with end-to-end management of the same
- Work with cross-functional teams to drive the means to growth for the key accounts
- Go deep into understanding what customer wants, how can that be worked out from scratch, and drive complete ownership of delivering results. This will include working with product, marketing, and supply-chain teams
- Drive vendor initiatives in terms of new supply acquisition, sales, and platform monetization, coordinating with relevant stakeholders across regional levels
- Work with planning and procurement teams to drive selection and in-stock targets
What we are looking for:
- A background of 4-7 years in managing high-value accounts or category management is required, with prior experience in healthcare being advantageous but not obligatory
- Experience in driving sales for vendors & customers, in a retail or b2c setup
- Self-motivated, ability to manage ambiguity and scale up things from level zero
- Excellent analytical and solution skills
- Experience in defining & driving salable Product solutions for an e-commerce platform would be a big advantage
- Immediate joiner is preferred
