Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Experience as a candidate : As to what did, I worked as an Advisor (voice) for a reputed MNC for one of the biggest United States Insurance Company.

*Arbitrary and an useless interview process* -
i> You'll be asked to submit all your documents, hardcopy of it at the very get-go. Then, you gotta do an online form submission in their company HR portal and after wandering for three hours, once you think you're done, they'll ask you to do it all over again.
ii> Everyone on their mother is a "HR" nowadays, funny when the women who's talking your interview don't even start with their own name. Probably because they're not qualified/trained to fullfill the criteria of an HR representative.
I'll add a side note: I was being interviewed for "Swiggy sales process" and I saw a guy,who is just an agent, sit, lean back on a chair, going through my CV and asking "sell me a cashew calculator",like dude is a Wall Street Broker, and it took me a whole goddamn minute to figure out what on
Earth he actually meant, when I realised he's faking an accent and meant a "CASIO" calculator. These are the type of people you gotta deal with.

*Job timing, remuneration and benefits* -
i> There are no benefits if you're working for this company, it's slashed to the bare bones. 6 days of work for the lowest pay you can think of, sandwich policy( it's a system where the company will deduct a part of your salary if you failed to show up at the first and last working day of the week, basically, just another way to save more money). You're staying a bit far away from sector V salt lake, like let's say 25 km or maybe more, and BOOM. You don't get a cab. Good luck dragging your way back home after taking phone calls from irate Indian customers all day.
ii> The only good thing is that, they offer part time jobs for those who want to. Did I say "only good thing"? That was a joke, the part time is obviously a rotational shift and you don't get a cab. If you're living far from Sector V.

*Overall ambience*-
i> People are messy, lazy, don't do their job as they should. Wandering in and out, talking loudly at the point when "HR" has to come in and tell them that they're being really loud. Coffee, drinks spilled on the floor, I heard the cleaning lady go "look at the state of this place" and mop the floor, while questioning her life choices. The only person I saw working hard is a dude, who's supplying water to every room and filling up individual water bottles for every employee and handing it over to them every five minutes. I saw him do this ten times in an hour, he's a real hero though.

*Conclusion*- If you stayed this long throughout the thread, I hope you get better opportunities in better companies, for a better job and a better pay-day. And, not all MNC's are good. Have a good one!
