I applied via Campus Placement and was interviewed before Jul 2021. There were 3 interview rounds.

Round 1 - Aptitude Test 

Actually I was selected through college placement. Aptitude Test was of very normal level, not to worry so much about that because they ask some basic technical questions and some calculation based questions to check your knowledge of core field as well as your calculations power.

Round 2 - HR 

(2 Questions)

  • Q1. Where you see yourself in near future?
  • Q2. What is your strength? What are the qualities you have which will benefit our organization?
Round 3 - Technical 

(3 Questions)

  • Q1. Hydraulic concept based simple numerical question. Basic terms like Newtonian fluid.
  • Q2. Mechanics related questions and question related to unit conversion.
  • Q3. Least count of basic measuring tools like vernier caliper and micrometre etc.
  • Ans. 

    The least count of vernier caliper is 0.02 mm and that of micrometer is 0.01 mm.

    • Vernier caliper has a least count of 0.02 mm.

    • Micrometer has a least count of 0.01 mm.

    • Least count is the smallest measurement that can be read on the instrument.

    • It is important to consider the least count while taking measurements for accuracy.

I am playing the role of production engineer in Pilger production section and i have to manage different orders running on different machine. The dimensions according the order within tolerance and quality of the product. I have the responsibility of 15 machines and 30 men. So workforce handling is also a serious task to play. Here I have to do SAP entry of each and every order with specific details. So my work is a combination of order handling, workforce handling, data entry and quality checking. It is a 24 X 7 running plant so I have to come in night shift also. Sometimes it becomes very stressful and exhaustive.
