Experience: Interviewer asked about your core subject littlebit and dont have any deep questions from c and c++.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Given a topic and asked me to speak about that topic for one minute and given a situation asked me how would you react on that situation.

General Tips: It is easy to get a job in infosys comparatively other companies because you dont need to prepare for software side.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: The resume was as per the norms of our institute’s placement office. One should mention only relevant points in the resume because if they ask you something from the resume and you are unable to answer then they will reject you bluntly.

Round: Test
Experience: In the written test the questions asked were mainly aptitude based. The company had sent us some sample question papers before the written test. The questions in the test appeared from those sample papers only. Most of the questions were tricky – questions were framed in a very lengthy manner and the answers or the data required to solve the question was hidden in the last few lines. Many students wasted their time analysing such questions completely. Out of the 80 odd students who appeared for the test only 11 qualified for the next round.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: In the technical interview he asked me whether I knew programming, I replied in the negative. He asked me to suggest an algorithm to a problem. The problem was based on swapping of numbers. At first I gave a very bland reply. The interviewer wasn’t convinced by my reply and gave me another opportunity to explain me the process. This time I managed to answer appropriately. The interviewer then enquired about my internship and my projects.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The HR interview was taken by some top company official. He asked me to narrate any challenging incident in my life that I had to struggle through to emerge out of it. One important thing to note here is that your CGPA would speak for you – if you have a good CGPA half the battle is won.

Motivation: TCS recruits a large number of students from various colleges across the country. Knowing this fact beforehand I was not much interested in joining the company. I appeared for its process as a last resort. The company had organized a pre-placement talk. I attended the talk and before appearing for the first round I went through the brochure that was given out during the pre-placement talk.

You do not require any specific information regarding the company to ace the interviews or any questionnaire.

Experience: Fifty people appeared for the test out of which sixteen were shortlisted.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: How would you promote a newly launched product? What marketing strategies would you use? They asked very simple case studies.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Test was based on data analysis, mainly maths. The interview was to see how much 'C' and probability you know.
Tips: Customized preparation is must along with good CGPA.

Tips: Be thorough with the work done in your internships and projects. Be ready to answer why you are interested in the company.Maintain your confidence level in the interviews. Round: Interview
Experience: 1st round: Panel of two. Asked questions about the projects which were mentioned in the resume. A few questions were asked about the core intern which I did. Asked about the family background.10 got selected in the next round of interviews.
I think for the second round of interviews they selected on basis of CG.
No case studies were asked Just my opinion was asked in certain topics in the second interview which was taken by the partner of the firm. He asked my opinion about construction in India.
I did well in the interview and they liked my story about my projects.
Tips: I think for the second round of interviews they selected on basis of CG.
I started preparing in Mid-November. I think placement is more about yourself. Starting earlier doesn't help.

General Tips: 2nd years: Decide where your interest lies. Have a decent CG at least above 8.
3rd years: Know your interest. Have mock PIs and GDs. 

Be genuine. If you don’t know something just tell them, do not act to be over-smart.Just revise your basic level courses. Revise Contracts, IPM, Construction Management.

Experience: One written test. It contains four sections. Each section is of 15 minutes duration.
Tips: Prepare for general aptitude and learn the basics of C, C++ and Java.

Tips: You must show your confidence and maintain eye contact with the interviewer.

Round: Test
Experience: The aptitude test basically consisted of questions from Data Structures and some other simple algorithms and also on Object Oriented Analysis. The aptitude test was tricky (having negative markings +2/-1 scheme). To cross this test speed and skill are essential.

The next test was a coding exams there were three questions 
1) Given a linked list, link the odd nodes followed by the even nodes in place.
2) Given a dictionary of words find words that are anagrams of each other.
3) Given a binary tree and a node print that node's path from root.
Duration: 95 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: There were 4 rounds of interviews...
the details are as follows
Interview 1 - This interview was basically DS based interview and certain concepts of networking were touched. I
told them that i am interested in data structures and cryptography so most of the questions came from those areas only.
Interview 2 - Was again technical. The interviewer asked me on Data Structures and a Dynamic Programming problem and some other puzzles to solve.
Interview 3 - This was technical but they evaluated the design skills. Asked me on ER diagrams, class diagrams and
database design and system design and some basic questions from OS. 
Interview 4 - This was also a technical interview mainly on problem solving and DS design (how would you design a DS to handle this situation and so on).

Round: HR Interview
Experience: There was no HR interview as such. They were asking questions in tech interviews such as tell me about yourself and so on.

General Tips: Data Structures, OOPS and OS. Solve a variety of problems. All the best!!!

Experience: Got selected because I was relating my experience with the job profile. And knew financials well.

General Tips: Interview question was mainly to gauge my knowledge about insurance sector. I had little idea about the sector but a little research prior to the interview helps. When you are over with the gd/ hr interview and you think there is a good chance of clearing it then make sure u get some knowledge about sector and the company .Read about the sector well and the company as well.
