(2 Questions)

  • Q1. Tell me the Laplace equation
  • Ans.

The Laplace equation is a second-order partial differential equation that describes the behavior of harmonic functions.

    • The Laplace equation is written as ∇^2f = 0, where ∇^2 is the Laplacian operator.

    • It is used in physics to describe the behavior of electric and gravitational fields.

    • Solutions to the Laplace equation are called harmonic functions.

    • Examples of harmonic functions include the electric potential in a region ...

  • Q2. Give difference between stokes theorem and divergence theorem
  • Ans.

Stokes theorem relates a surface integral over a closed surface to a line integral around its boundary, while divergence theorem relates a volume integral of a vector field to a surface integral of its divergence.

    • Stokes theorem deals with the circulation of a vector field around a closed curve in space, while divergence theorem deals with the flow of a vector field through a closed surface in space.

Round 1 - One-on-one

(2 Questions)

  • Q1. Explain Laplace transform formula
  • Ans.

Laplace transform formula is a mathematical tool used to transform a function of time into a function of complex frequency.

    • The Laplace transform of a function f(t) is defined as F(s) = L{f(t)} = ∫[0,∞] e^(-st) * f(t) dt

    • It is commonly used in engineering and physics to solve differential equations

    • Example: Laplace transform of f(t) = 1 is F(s) = 1/s

  • Q2. Explain divergence theorem Formula of surface in space created by rotating a curve
  • Ans.

Divergence theorem relates a triple integral over a region to a surface integral over the boundary of the region.

    • Divergence theorem, also known as Gauss's theorem, states that the flux of a vector field through a closed surface is equal to the volume integral of the divergence of the field over the region enclosed by the surface.

    • It is a fundamental theorem in vector calculus and has applications in physics, engineering...

Round 1 - One-on-one

(2 Questions)

  • Q1. What is law of triangle.
  • Ans.

The law of triangles states that the sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the length of the third side.

    • The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the length of the third side.

    • This law is also known as the triangle inequality theorem.

    • For example, in a triangle with side lengths of 3, 4, and 5, 3 + 4 > 5, 3 + 5 > 4, and 4 + 5 > 3.

  • Q2. What is sin15 value
  • Ans.

The value of sin15 is approximately 0.2588.

    • sin15 can be calculated using trigonometric functions.

    • sin15 = sin(45 - 30) = sin45*cos30 - cos45*sin30

    • sin15 = (√2/2 * √3/2) - (√2/2 * 1/2)

    • sin15 ≈ 0.2588

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The interview was in a two-step, one is my introduction part and another one is technical round. In the introduction part, they want to check my confidence label about my actual position.
But in the technical round, they want to check my depth about my technical subject with confidence.
I give answers to all the question with full confidence because this round is only the chance for an interviewer to check your skill that can be needed for an organization. they only check your presence of mind about their question.
You have to give answers without stress and fear but confidently.
So as this is my first interview in my core company. I answered that as I am a natural person and I want to work with an organization which have a natural and eco-friendly environment, which will ensure my own growth with the growth of an organization.

  • Q2. How to find the angle between two intersecting lines?
  • Ans.

To find the angle between two intersecting lines, use the formula: angle = arctan((m2-m1)/(1+m1*m2))

    • Identify the slopes of the two lines (m1 and m2)

    • Use the formula: angle = arctan((m2-m1)/(1+m1*m2))

    • Convert the angle from radians to degrees if necessary

  • Answered by AI
  • Q3. How to find the angle between two vectors?
  • Ans.

To find the angle between two vectors, use the dot product formula.

    • Calculate the dot product of the two vectors.

    • Find the magnitude of each vector.

    • Use the formula: cos(theta) = (A dot B) / (|A| * |B|)

    • Solve for theta by taking the inverse cosine of both sides.

    • The resulting angle is in radians, convert to degrees if necessary.

  • Q4. How to write Cos x in terms of Sine?
  • Ans.

Cos x can be written in terms of Sine using the identity Cos x = Sin (90 - x)

    • Use the identity Cos x = Sin (90 - x)

    • Substitute x with the given angle in degrees or radians

    • Simplify the expression if possible
