Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - My last round was on 14th Dec 2023 & final documentation completed on 18th Dec, 23. But after documentation, they told me - "Bulk Hiring is going on, so you need to wait."

'As initially Bulk Hiring was going on, Later on leaders were on leave, later on Whole Company People were on leave - Still Understandable from my side. That's why I waited till 15th Jan.

After that I asked about an update? Here comes another Excuse from Hr Poo** that their NEW CFO had approved to hire people under this lesser ** LPA - CTC (as final CTC was discussed in Dec, then also)

So, after a long conversation - HR Poo** ask me that - Tell me your decision, whether you wanna proceed with this or not? Becoz, we do have many other options.

My Personal Advice - Depending on their So called Senior and Hr - Mood, they finalize the candidate & their revised CTC. I'm thankful that they had shown their mindset (before my joining), after joining they do throw many excuses related to Sales, Salary Hold Issue, etc.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The process started with the PPT, which was for an hour. It was helpful attending the PPT as you could really understand the job profile and the company.
The test was right after the PPT for which more than 200 people appeared. It was an aptitude and verbal test, 52 questions, 60 minutes, +3 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer. There was space on the paper to write a short paragraph about yourself as well. The test was very difficult and the paper was very lengthy. Many couldn't attempt more than 20 questions. I attempted around 25. So accuracy and choosing the right questions was vital. About 40 students made the cut to the interview rounds.

General Tips: Be clear on which profile you are interested in. For Product Development, revise some of the 8th to 10th standard topics in Maths and Science. For Business Associate, refer to Ace your Case or any Case Study interview book. Go through some marketing and sales basics. They looked for confidence and good communication skills. They asked about your internships and experiences too. Having a good resume is very important.
Read as much as possible about the company from their website, Quora, Glassdoors, etc. It can be really helpful in impressing your interviewer.
It was a long process because of the number of candidates to be interviewed. I had to wait from 3:30 pm to 6:15 for my interview and the results came out 10:45 pm. It is important to keep your spirits up and keep calm.
Skill Tips: Since they offered two profiles, Business Development Associate and Product Development Associate, you had to mention your preference on the paper. Your interview was based on your preference. For Product Development Associate, they asked simple 8th to 10th standard topics to be explained in an interesting manner (since their product was an educational one).
For Business Development Associate they asked simple business cases.
General aptitude and verbal was helpful. Practice is key to getting that accuracy.
