3.Internet to read about the company and for current affairs. Revisited mock GD day Chairman GD feedback. Interacted with senior who interned at TAS. Stressed on HR prep.

4. Know yourself well. HR questions are very crucial All my questions in the 25 min interview were based on the answers I was giving. So answer wisely. Chairman GD etiquette should not be flouted at all.

5. If you have got clarity about what you want, think and say about yourself, interview will not be a problem.

  • Q1. Simulation, HR questions asked in a form. I had spent considerable time introspecting and formulating appropriate answers. My answers were really brief - maximum was 130 words.
Round 2 - Group Discussion 

Chairman GD

Topics were very generic and mostly situation based. Absolutely avoid talking over someone else, sound extremely gentle and compassionate, make non-controversial statements and do not recommend anything radical no bending rules.

Round 1 - Group Discussion 

8 Topics.
Topics were mostly based on some kind of dilemma. I made 1-2 entries in every topic, speaking for at least 30-60 seconds.

Made it through the GD. Taking a stance and building on it seemed enough in such a short GD.

Very organised GD, kept a happy face on.

6-7 minutes for each topic (including topic introduction and conclusion).

New joiner in your firm. He is well experienced but still not liked by his colleagues. What should you do as manager?

Pollution due to one of your plants. What should you do?

A country is planning to attack. You are low on funds. How to proceed?

There is a football finals tomorrow, 2 star players are injured and 2 good substitutes are available. Its an important game. What should you do being a team selector.
