Round: Test
Experience: There are two sections ....1) verbal 2)analytical and reasoning. paper was little bit tough. i didn't remember the type of questions.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The HR was very cool and friendly. He asked me general questions like "tell me about ur self","have u done any teamwork" etc and then he asked me about my favourite subject.Then he asked me to explain the subject considering him as an 8th class student. Then he asked me about my family background. And the interview was about 30mins.

General Tips: You must be very cool while facing interview and u should ur confidence and interest towards the company.

Round: Test
Experience: Questions related to courses of Design, MOS, TOM. It had tough MCQ’s based on formulae that had to be memorized and were calculation intensive.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: it was a 45-minute round with questions about yourself, CPI and extra-curricular activities.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Questions based on resume, internship and 2nd and 3rd year related projects. Short discussion on Extra-curricular activities.

Round: Test
Experience: Basic aptitude questions with some application based questions which do not require any calculation. Second section tests the verbal ability of the student with few grammar based questions and few word analogy related.
Tips: Good practice of basic aptitude questions covering most of the topics and critical reasoning questions without using pen and paper will help a lot.If you are a voracious reader you need not worry for verbal section but if you hardly read then start reading from now and develop a habit.

Round: Interview
Experience: Be honest and answer the questions confidently. For all the questions I supported myself with good answers and some examples. For the question regarding my verbal ability in which I scored less marks I answered that I recognise that weakness and started reading newspapers and word power book.
Tips: Only confidence is the mantra for hr interview. Support your answer and stick to your answer. If possible give examples and be expressive.

Skill Tips: Showcase your strengths and make the interviewer ask what you want him to ask take him in your direction.

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: No one would be eliminated in this round. They will provide you ample time - around 40-50 minutes to write a response on a case study. The topic would be new and unheard of, but you can think and write peacefully in that amount of time.
Tips: Make sure you highlight the points made and do remember them for the Group Discussion phase.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: One-third of the guys will get selected for the interviews from each group of 8-10 guys. The topic of the GD would be same as the case study. Now, its time for you to recall the points you made during the writing section. The GD will last for around 15-20 minutes.
Tips: Good communication skills, relaxed but expressive tone. Don’t be silent and try to speak up whenever you get a chance. Try to bring new air into the discussion and think from all the different perspectives. You should speak at least 2-3 times, even if you just say 1-2 sentences each time. That will do. They also individually ask each person to speak, specifically those who could not speak, but you had better not be that guy or girl. There is no need to fight for summarizing the GD. Try to show that you are involved throughout the GD.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: There will be two guys, one from technical and the other HR. They both ask questions at the same time and they discuss among each other as well. They mostly try to detect any fraud or fake thing you did in your project or intern. All the technical questions come from your CV. So, your fate is kind of in your hands only.
Tips: Prepare hard for Projects, Internships etc. Don’t panic. They try to see how you react in a pressure situation and actually behave as if you are not impressing them. Just be calm and keep on speaking. If there is something you want to say and they interrupt you, its better you ask them to give you a chance to explain it in details. Do have a few questions in mind to ask them about your job profile and Wipro. That is the final nail in the coffin.

Skill Tips: A minimum CGPA of 8.0 was mentioned and later they relaxed it to 7.9. They were giving quite some importance to the Internships and Projects undertaken and were trying to judge if you actually did something new and genuine. They were dwelling deep into it. As I said, prepare well for them just like you prepare for BTech Project Viva. They do ask a lot of questions.HR questions should be prepared thoroughly. A background check of Wipro and IT sector companies is a must. Prepare well for group discussions. Try to get background information about the IT sector and the company. Prepare your CV thoroughly.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Fundae session by seniors and a resume workshop by some company. Also, sent resume to some seniors for their opinions and I think this was an important part of it.
Tips: I suggest Pre-placement talks, are a must. What is more important is not to believe the PPTs completely and ask seniors about the level of fundaes (finance/tech/otherwise) and preparation required to crack the company. There is a lot of good material on ATKEARNEY and other website. Other than that I used the material available for years.

Round: Interview
Experience: Final offers in my division were 12. There were two levels of case interviews. The first interview was to judge if I would be suitable for the Strategy and Operations profile or for the Technology and Integration profile. There were two interviewers. They explained to me both the profiles and asked me what I wanted to choose and why. Then asked me some general HR questions like why consulting, why you etc. Then started off with an informal case study. It was about a new company which wanted to start a new low cost airline and had no experience in this market till now. It has two options: either to acquire an existing company or to build up all processes on their own. I was first asked to qualitatively mention what all aspects I would consider. After that they asked me what new things could this company do. They were pretty satisfied with my answers and I was confident of getting listed in the next round. In the next round there was single interviewer who was looking quite senior. Asked some HR questions. One case study about a consumer durables dealer which was again qualitative. Asked some HR questions that's it.

General Tips: Lack of interaction with seniors throughout IIT stay was one thing for which I had to pay. I had no seniors in my wing and I had no fundae of the amount of preparation required.
So make sure that you have certain information.

Round: Test
Experience: One written test. It contains three sections. Each section is of 20 minutes duration.
Tips: Prepare well with general aptitude and have some basic technical knowledge.
Duration: 60 minutes

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: The topic may be any technical topic or any general matter.
Tips: Maintain your voice pitch, be clear with what you are talking and listen to others also.
Duration: 20 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: He also gave me a situation and asked me how I would react.
Tips: Be realistic with your hobbies and interests. Do not bluff anything.

Experience: Being genuine helped, they were trying to help out in answering some questions. Being flexible in outlook helped(rather than being rigid about a profile)

General Tips: GD outcome was CV influenced, Enthusiastic about the company and being open to possibilities helped.
