Plaster deductions as per IS code refer to the allowable deductions in plaster thickness for different types of surfaces.
Plaster deductions are specified in IS 456:2000 for different types of surfaces like brickwork, concrete, etc.
For brickwork, the deduction is 12 mm, for concrete it is 6 mm, and for metal it is 3 mm.
These deductions are important to ensure proper bonding and strength of the plaster.
