Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I worked as developer for 4 years, While company provided some opportunities to learn, had good relationships among colleagues, flexible working hours, and a generally positive environment, my overall experience wasn't ideal.

Job security was really a major issue --- once you're placed on bench, it's essentially the end of your time with the company. There's lot of office politics, and maintaining a work-life balance was very challenging. The company often expecting long hours, anywhere between 9-15 hours a day, and I had to juggle multiple roles like developer, tester and UI designer without proper recognition. Then when on leave, the expectation to contribute continued, and late night production builds common.

Additionally, lot of time was spent on calls, sometimes up to 3 hours daily, which added to the stress. Ultimately the heavy workload, lack of work-life balance, and the constant expectation of availability made it difficult to stay motivated and productive.

Finally, After dedicating several years, contributing significantly to projects, building a strong reputation with the management, and honing valuable skills, all of that essentially erased once you are placed on the bench. Remember guys. It's my self experience. Think twice

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Make the interview interactive, I got this input from another Senior. Before i went into the interview room the volunteers were telling all those who goes into Room No 1 is screwed. I was praying i don't get room no 1. But fortunately for me I got room no 1 because when the interviewer gave me the puzzle and handed over pen and paper he went back to relax his posture and when i explained i will fill the 5L Jar first, he immediately came forward to listen to me, at that moment i knew i got the job because i felt the previous candidates never made their interview interactive and that's why he went back to relax his posture.
