Round: Test
Experience: technical:- 100 marks( almost ies level )....non tech:60 marks(section like english , math,reasoning,general awareness)....basic thing required is just take overview of all the section equally because marks arbitrary distributed...don't go in depth because question will be easy type but ...mainly focus on general awareness)cut off: mechanical 110-138 one of the important thing that there will be no negative marking so cutoff will be high.....now around five times no of candidate will be shortlisted for interview ...(there was no gd but in future they may incorporate)... written part is one of the important part for any psu because getting high marks in written exam will secure your seat, which also gives you flexibility in your interview so be focused on written part.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: now question comes to interview...any off campus interview judge student technical as well as analytical ability which is different from campus interview , which based on preconception.so don't be happy or sad about college marks...that will help you little....the most important thing about interview is that how you start....according to starting many conception developed in interviewer intellect..which may help or hinder further process..(i was the first guy in my panel so little tension can't ruled out specially in my case, but most important thing always believe in your self...no of interviewer panel was consisted of 5 members including one director which was subject of talking that point of time , so i was little bit tensed.....but as the first question come to me i take my gear ... my first question was on my project.........as i was expected .....i was so confident about my project ...n i explained ... it continuously for the next 10 minutes .after that chairman asked ....other panel members to ask question then one of the member told me that there is no need of ask any question because we checked all your technical skills in your project. and you r very sound at your technical .....AFTER that chairman told me ....yaar ...you r very interesting .....and told ...me best of luck ....n we will meet very soon ..in the premises of HAL.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Discussions in detail on the field in which you have done your projects. General questions on Intern, BTP were asked.
Tips: Small tricky questions were asked all of which can be answered through the course Aircraft Design-1. Have sound core knowledge, aircraft design course is important.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: General discussion on extra-curricular, posts of responsibility also took place.
Tips: Show your interest in the company.
