Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I would suggest, do brush up your technical knowledge before you seat for the interview. If you can give the first round well, the other rounds will automatically carry your goodwill from the first round . It will be more easier to crack it.

Now depending on which Line of Service you are opting into, get well accustomed with the basic technical know-how.

Last but not the least just believe in yourself and have faith on almighty God. Everything will be easier.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The interview was a technical one but more to test my leadership skills as I was offered Assistant manager’s position. I would suggest the candidates to be genuine and themselves when they are asked about situational questions. It’s okay to not know everything in technical aspect but it’s necessary to be humble and accept the same. It’s important to be able to convey your weaknesses and strengths and your takeaways from previous job. Please understand the job description and what you are expected to do so you can build up your conversation around it. If possible check LinkedIn profile or some basic information about the person who will interview you. Try to build a certain rapport when they take interview show that you are also interested in them and the organisation. Lastly confidence is important so all the best and give your best shot!

Best answer to give to HR on why am I on notice!
Hi, I have recently left my job and on my notice with 20 days pending. While giving interviews, when the HR asks me what's the notice I say it's 30 days (officially 60 days). But since only 20 days are left, is it better to tell them outright that I'm on notice or wait for them to ask? 1 or 2 replies I have thought of if they ask why I am already on notice is - "In my current role I was not able to leverage and improve my current skills optimally and it was detrimental to my career path of working towards Product from Business Analyst. With the decision to change company and since I have given quite a few interviews in the last 1.5 months, I decided to put down my papers in order to mitigate the risk of not getting an offer due to a longer notice period." I would like some reviews or feedback on this or is there a better answer to give so that I don't lose much leverage during the interview process. Thanks! P.S. This is for a job in India.
