Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The cgpa criteria was 6.0 .Around 70 people were giving the test from instrumentation background. In this round 50 questions were of quant and 50 questions were tecnical. so i prepared for some core subjects like industrial instrumentation, process dynamics, control systems, some questions were from thermodynamics.. basic questions from sensors and signal conditioning and measurements.. Quant covers the chapters of train problems, time and distance, time and work, SI , profit and loss , percentage, averages, age problems, boats and streams, log questions, Mixture problems, ratio and proportion, partnership probl, perm and comb , prob.Actually during the test they mainly focus on quant section. For preparing the results of the first round Quant section is considered more than the tecnical section . They shortlisted 21 students from instrumentation branch. After this was an interview round.
Tips: Prepare for quant and tecnical part well

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: It was my first experience of my interview. I was very nervous about it because it was my first one. But i told myself to remain calm and went inside. He greeted me well and asked me to take a chair. He then asked me to tell about my family. I told about it. Then he started asking that why i took instrumentation and not any other branch. He then asked about my college activities. Then he started asking me tecnical instrumentation questions like if we want to measure this part which sensor we will use or what instrument we will use here. He then named some sensors and asked me the principle behind it. He also asked about my 2 months training in schneider. The interview went for 20-25 mins . After that we waited for the result. They took 5 people and offer letter was given the very next day in the morning.
Tips: You need to confident enough when you speak. When he ask you a question take a 5sec break think about it and then speak.
