Round: Test Experience: Test was divided in three parts Algorithms, Maths, CS (Operating systems, Database, etc.). They were fairly easy questions and if basics are clear the questions are doable. Tips: Understand the basics in Algorithms, OS, Database, etc. Duration: 90 minutes
Round: Test Experience: It was again divided in three parts. There were many questions and less time. So manage your time beforehand. I attempted Algorithms and CS sections. Algorithms questions were of a bit easy difficulty (should be easy to answer if practiced from sites like GeeksforGeeks, etc). CS core question were of medium difficulty. Tips: Study from GeeksforGeeks site for questions and for core CS subjects read slides of the subject before test. Try to manage time effectively. Dont write essays where they expect a brief answer. Duration: 180 minutes
General Tips: Practice Regularly and be confident. Even in interviews if you dont know answer, try to show your thinking process. They may give you hints. Skill Tips: For algorithms, clear the basics from Cormen book and then practice coding questions from Hackerrank, codechef, codeforces everyday. Round: HR Interview Experience: In CSEM-UAE : there was first sort listing based on resume and after that there was single long interview. Almost 12 ppl were called for interview. Six people were made final offer. In Softjin: there was two round of interview both were technical there was not separate round for HR. Three people were called for second interview out of which two were given final offer.
Round: HR Interview Experience: Two rounds ofinterviews. First round 11 out of 40-50. Second round 8 offerred jobs. Here are a few things they asked: a) Why is your CPI so low? b) How did you manage a good JEE rank if you have such issues with academic system? c) What are your plans for future? d) What is the reason for considering CRL? e) How much maximum memory can be allocated in C++ at one go? f) Can JAVA garb. Collector be called from inside th program? g) What do you know about functional programs? h) Tell us about the research you have done? i) About BTP. Tips: a) A CS/IT student should be well versed in PL theory and C++ JAVA internals.
General Tips: Instead of following the & better to dress in stuff you are comfortable. Even a formal shirt over jeans Is not bad, way of speaking will matter a LOT more. Speak slowly and listen attentively to what the other guy has to say. Know inside that you are both smart guys and try to get into a conversation instead of letting the interview go on like Q&A. Don't make too many references to personal details. You also have the right to feel offended at any point and be vocal about it. Round: Resume Shortlist Experience: Refer some sample resumes, and read some guidelines, and attend some workshop about how to prepare resume. Be very honest and write only those details about which you are very much sure.
Round: Other Interview Experience: Its totally individual company decision. Prepare basics of Algorithms, Data Structure, Computer N/W. And your Project work and favourite subjects.
Round: Resume Shortlist Experience: I have just followed the instructions given by our placement team. We have two different resumes. One for technical companies, where technical details were emphasized. The other one is for business companies, where managerial skills were more emphasized.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: Nearly 150 people appeared for exam. Approx. 30 were selected for interview. 2 Interviews: one HR and one Technical. Some people had 2 technical interviews. Finally 9 were selected. In the technical interview : Most questions were asked related to Programming esp. C. Lot of questions were asked on pointers and OS concepts . I was asked to write a program on circularly double linked list. Questions were asked on data structures and Device drivers. Some questions on my project. HR interview is easy and straight forward. Tips: For interview/GD/Test preparation did you prepare in groups or individually? Which one do you think helps the most? Any details you provide will be of great help For tests, my friends and me prepared together. And for interviews ,we refereed online. Those were helpful esp. for HR interviews.

Round: Test Experience: Written Test – 50 ppl appeared 15 were shortlisted for interview, 3 were finally selected. Technical interview mainly based on project and the basics of the subject HR – be pleasing If someone wants to appear for this company. . Tips: Prepare some common topics such as globalization, reservation in IITs and IIMs, etc.

Round: Resume Shortlist Experience: I took the help from my friends. Did you attend Pre-Placement talks. I did attended most of the PPTs. Got Some exposure to kind of jobs in the market and expectations for recruiters.
Round: Test Experience: Simple written exam. 20 people took exam and 15 were shortlisted. Tips: Prepare the technical part well.
General Tips: Dressing, etiquette Those things don't matter much. What matters is your personality and your confidence level. It would be better to examine oneself before entering interview hall. College Name: IIT BOMBAY
Round: Resume Shortlist Experience: I was geared up for applying to universities for Ph. D. I, therefore prepared my resume to highlight my undergraduate research, course work and academic achievements, programming skills. I read a few resumes from seniors who applied to and did get scholarships from good universities.
Round: Test Experience: Written + technical interviews. No HR at all. Were good math problems and puzzles. 16 were shortlisted from resume. 4 were offered a job.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: Problem examples: Given m sorted lists, each of length n, merge them to form a single list of length mn. Given two eggs and a hundred story building. The eggs break when dropped from a particular floor 'k' or higher. Find minimum number of total drops required to determine k. Tips: Algorithms and Programming, that's all..... Nothing else required :)Just keep your mind alert. These are not at all hard questions. When worked through, they can be cracked pretty easily :)
Round: Resume Shortlist Experience: I looked at resumes of previously successful candidates with profiles similar to mine. After reaching a level I thought fit, I sent it for review to several friends, mostly those who'd already appeared for placements the previous years. In particular, I sent it to people in companies where I was applying. Feedback from them dramatically changed my resume. Tips: The PPTs helped me eliminate (rather than choose) companies I'd want to apply for. I usually found people in the companies I thought I'd like to apply to or people in similar positions in other companies.
Round: Test Experience: There was an initial resume shortlisting (mostly based on CPI) & around 15 people shortlisted. This was followed by a written round & 10 people shortlisted. Two interview rounds, 1 hour each. Final offers were made to 4 people.
Round: HR Interview Experience: The interviews had three basic parts: resume/HR where the interviewer looked at the resume and asked questions about specific points. Was also asked about a time when I achieved much in less time.
Round: Technical Interview Experience: Technical these were pure algorithm kind of questions. Some questions based on c++ Puzzles this was the bulk of the interview. Lot of time was given to figure out the puzzles and thinking out loud was encouraged. Help was also provided.
General Tips: a. dress in formals (suits probably not required for most at least not the technical ones) b. carry a pack of biscuits and a bottle of water/juice in a bag. You may not get time to have a proper lunch c. keep calm. the interviewers aren't here to punish you. College Name: IIT BOMBAY
