Salary is too low from industry standards for lower grade employees, they are become scapegoat for paying huge salary for experiance people coming from other low level companies even though all are working in same level

People outside the IT industry will think that you are having a handsome salary and great life since you are in a TATA group company

Dislikes

Its common to see existing high performers and senior developers having their salary package less than their experience in years. Like 6lpa or 7lps for 7 to 8 years etc

Tcs will provide employees lot of learning opportunities and job security.

Dislikes

Salary hike is very bad. Like in 5 6 years also there will be no significant changes in your salary slip. No bonus or gift cards. No recognition of good work. Internal politics will hamper productivity. And the worst thing now is WFO without fail or else salary will be deducted.

The team I am part of is great. We collaborate efficiently, sharing knowledge, and support each other to achieve our goals. It's a motivating and inspiring environment to work in.

While I appreciate the opportunity and the great team I work with in TCS, the salary is really below industry standard.
