Salary structure is very poor and people are not valued as per skills and experience. Promotions are completely based on management and personal terms. Associates are forced to upgrade on many technologies but not allowed to move out of the project to contribute for new skills.

Likes

Nothing only the timings are generally not very bad. The company gives annual appraisal less than the inflation rate so it is the worst thing as they are using their brand name to misuse the labour laws.

Dislikes

...s not at all helpful. So, it is better join a bank as a clerk than to join TCS. As the salary provided to TCS fresher is less than the MTS in government department.

The work environment is good but not for freshers. Only when your are looking for stability after being experienced.

Not good for freshers to join. It will take 3-4 years to get 4.5 LPA package. Very small increment. No diwali bonus no occasions are celebrated.

Job security, we can work for entire life without resigning on our own.

Dislikes

Late promotions, low salary, less appraisals increment rate, no future if you wanna stay in it. Better option is to come late to TCS after getting 30LPA salary and stay in it by doing nothing
