Everything .No Career Growth , Horrible work culture. Underpaid salary .Sometimes we think even a tea shop would be better than working at TCS as a fresher

Working at TCS boost our energy and talent with all the real time mentors and humble managers. Team work is an excellent experience.

Dislikes

The salaries and hikes are too low compared to other organisations. If the assosiate don't get satisfied with the work and pay then there will be dissatisfaction which might affect the efficiency of work.

Job security, medical assistant, no salary hold for last working month, you can devlop skills with learning portal.

-Salary increment is very poor compare to inflation rate a lot of deductions, also during increment they just adjust some of the components in the CTC, no promotion since 3 years just changing positions and increasing workload internally (that also not on the paper) and not giving money for additional workload (simply exploitation) and lot of micromanagement. - They prefer to give more packge to new joiner than currently working professionals who already have expertise and we have to train them, also sometimes they used to get work done from freshers for cost cutting; here also we have to train the freshers. - Also some of the project managers are expecting a work from employees during weekends too. - And the limit was reached when they asked to submit backpack when I was leaving the organization which was provided during the joining time otherwise you have to bourne money i.e. cost of backpack as a fine (never seen such a miser organization before).

Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

1- TCS work life balance is really good for most of the projects. 2. The training and development programs are also good and accessible to everyone in the company.

Dislikes

1)Poorest salary structure in the TCS 2. Outdated appraisal process; Strong favoritism, and local community culture. One can not survive with only talent. 3) They cut huge amount of qurtarly Pay in salary.
