Mainly the compensation and appraisal policiea...yearly appraisal cycle on which even the leads /managers don't give clarity, HR connect & cooperation should be better

A very nice work culture. Supportive supervisors.

Dislikes

Lack of clarity in terms of promotion policies. Which is quite a disappointment. Compensation is way low than market standard even for performing candidate.

Only good thing available is the learning platform available for the associates

A band hike - max upto 8% B band hike - max upto 6% C band hike - max upto 4% That means if you are a beginner and you receive A band after a complete year of hardwork and say you are making 29000 per month, after B band your salary will be increasing by a mere 500-800 per month. Sad reality is the sys5em has become very poor in TCS. The top management does not cares about the associates and in 70% cases they are the one doing all the hard work. With that salary imagine surviving in metros like Mumbai and Bangalore. And the worst part is your work will be undervalued and you will never get a sense of completness even after working so hard. Ask any TCSer who joined in last 5 years..!!

TCS has provided great infrastructure to grow personally. TCS has many projects which require onsite resources across the globe, which enable one's aspiration to work abroad india.

Few benefits and perks are good but in hand salary is not par with market.

...sion. You keeps working on the old version which does not help u in your growth. The salary hike is very less. 6-7% on getting A band. Forget about promotions.
