Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

No hikes, no motivation, no appraisals, shit salary. Failure to recognize true potential from right employee

Except job security there is nothing which can help you to grow your career neither skill nor salary or opportunities. If you want to develop your skills or willing to get benifits you need to be always good with manager even he is not a nice with you. Here people's get good hike and appraisals when they have good contact with manager, if not forget benifits from company even you working hard.

Well the fact that every month the salary gets credited and maybe job security that's it

No employee perks or benefits. Powai branch has bad food services in there cafeteria and after multiple complaints no stringent actions are taken for improvement. No Diwali gifts not even sweets. There are many things to dislike thats the reason I am planning to leave now. What will I do of job security if I am not happy with my work.

Extremely low pay, late promotions or I would say no promotions, too much, no easy release from projects, too much office politics, no promotion based on performance/rating. No allowances on time, even if you're in a dedicated project still u won allocation will keep on changing every month which cause payments delays. Overall so many issue which makes tcs a kind of exploitor which heavenly exploits its own employees.

No appraisals, no work life balance, no salary benefits, no work satisfaction. I would advise freshers not to join TCS as a primary option try in other companies as well before joining. Keep TCS as a last option i.e. like some thing is better than nothing only join when u r confirmed that there is no other option other than TCS.
