Confused about Salary negotiations
CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?

Compensation and too much dependant of managers and middle people for promotion and career growth. Because of these middle people a lot of young and bright minds are leaving TCS.

Nothing...it is best IT company, anyone would love to work.. Only issue is salary hikes are not well distributed.

Very high job security, though TCS is not very competent in salary, their medical insurance is one of the best in market. No work pressure and good balance of personal and work life.

TCS offers good work life balance and average skill development. Once you are in they rarely fire. They have variety of projects where you will be mapped according to your skill even if you are average or poor in skill.
