Allocation based work culture Bench culture of working Service scope of work Paying less variable pay from actual,only 40% max we can get Even if we perform and score 4.5 out of 5,we get band "C" If we score "A" band also max hike is 5% Promotion once in 5yrs Hard to touch with HR, we couldn't find them as easy. No proper work space, chairs also not so good. Transport by means of non AC bus with costed from our salary. Except water all things we need to pay

Lot of learning opportunities, one can learn anything as per wish and organisation literally force you to be updated with latest trends and techs

Dislikes

Extreme level of beauricracy , those who can see your performance cannot decide on your compensation or appraisal ratings, lot of unknown people's in critical decision making..

If you get good project and client than everything is good

Appraisal and salary hike is super difficult, if you have worked for product company previously then definitely you wont like tcs for some reasons. Try to join tcs at the time you wanna get stability in life. 3 month of notice period could be a hurdle for you to find a new job

...t do not pay well their loyal employees who have stayed with them for 10+ years. I joined as a Team member and I am the Delivery Manager for a account, but the salary is not corrected per industry standards. I myself have recruited people with salary more than me in my team and they tend to move out after max 3 years. being dissatisfied with the pay structure. TCS should give Market Correction to people who have at least 10 +years of tenure with them, to show that they value them.

Group life insurance (after death) is good which is 6X of your CTC.

... their joining month. I joined in Oct 2021 and got my 1st appraisal in Apr 2023.They do lot of changes in CTC and tries to bring down the take home salary.
