TCS is a big company which is handling 1000s of projects. Most of the projects are service oriented. As a Computer science graduate and my interest was to become a software developer, the kind of projects that I worked initially was not great. Using some outdated technologies it was really hectic and boring. I never enjoyed my work. Doing the same thing always. But there are very few good projects in TCS that help you to explore more areas of technology. My second project was of that type.

...roperly used. Allocating employees to projects without identifying their skills. Salary hike in TCS is very less. It is around 8 to 9% even though you get the best band.

Best place to experience person, if you not want work in pressure than this company is your type.

Salary growth is very low as compared other bpo company for freshers and experience employees politics they think that we are the only boss

job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.

Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Dislikes

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.
